Today we have been hanging around Queenstown, which has been very pleasant. Had a nice meal in a bar overlooking the lake and then booked some thrill rides for the next few days. Tomorrow we are going on a jet boat trip up the Shotover Canyon and then on Friday we are sea-kayaking through Milford Sound (hopefully we'll see some dolphins, seals and penguins too). We have literally just come back down from a gondola trip up one of the hills that surrounds the town, the one where the paragliders start from. Here is a picture of the view across Queenstown:
Anyway off now to have a Chinese meal and a nice bottle of wine. Man, I sure am missing work...
