It seems like we could be about to see campaigns against large IT companies much like those against Nike et al during the late 80's/early 90's.  Many large IT companies (such as HP) produce goods (printers for example) from factories in areas where the wages are much cheaper and protection for the workforce is lacking (Mexico, India, Thailand, China etc).  What will be interesting is if we see the same pattern with some of these large software development outsourcing companies springing up in India in a few years' time.
